Hi,

We (couple in mid 20s) are trying to find somewhere in the caribbean to go for a week at the start of may this year, i have seen mexico & dominican and looking at RIU resorts in both.
The one I was looking at were RIU Caribe in cancun and RIU Mambo in dominican republic.
Anybody suggest anything else.

with a budget of no more than 700 each. flying from Glasgow.

Also would my partner who has an Italian Passport need any visa etc for entering the country?

Hi,

Have you looked at any of the Riu's on the east cost of the Dominican?

Me and my boyfriend stayed at there last may, we have just booked up to go to the palcae macao this December. It was excellent and the beach was stunning. The east has the best beaches on the island.

Have a look on portland direct for the hotels on the east coast as they always seem cheaper than Thomson.

Let me know if you need anymore info on the hotels.

Thanks for that, but the flights are from Manchester only.

I'd rather have Glasgow/Edinburgh.

I dont mind the 4/5 hr drive to Manchester etc going on holiday, but coming back (jet lag etc etc )

I think we would rather go Cancun, quite fancy going to Mexico.
