Never been to Italy

We are looking to go to Italy this summer and we are looking for some advice on where to go that would suit adults with teenagers. We dont like it to be too quite, we like the beach and would like a hotel with plenty of entertainment etc if we wish to stay at the resort? Can anyone help us? thank you in advance for your help
