THESE ARE ALL GOING IN PEAK SEASON (AUGUST)
so the first one id love but its just over our budget as you will need at least £1000 spends for food, drink and souverneirs.
so were restricted to go the 23rd august 2007.jamaica goes that day and kenya,
whihc one would suit us,whats kenya like, nice and plenty to do for 2 weeks , i mean like some shops?
i still like kenya.
what will the weather be like?
also in kenya from diani or bamburi can you go on a safari for the day.are they reccomended? is there lots of reptiles?
whats it like to eat out in kenya,is there much choice?
If you are looking for a mainly beach holiday then Kenya north or South Mombasa is OK, Do not think the shopping or facilities will be anything like America. It will depend on the hotel you choose but they do activities such as Diving etc. You can do day trips such as a visit to the Town, safari and the adventurous go to Mombasa on their own but not at Night. There are some good places to eat eg Tamarind Dhow but most activity is based around the hotels. Weather in August is towards the end of the rainy season you can check histoy on the net - I went end of August and end of Sept each time there was Rain but not for too long and its warm at worst a couple of hours but it is a risk you take - hope this helps
If you like shopping as a main part of the holiday forget Kenya
A one day safari would be nowhere near enough if you want to see all the large animals. 2-3 days at the least.
If not doing too much safari then kenya is predominantly a beach holiday chilling. A few trips outside the hotel but mostly hotel based including eating.
Orlando - loads to do shopping eating out theme parks other tours but nice but not my cup of tea for 2 weeks
Vegas Not been but unless you like gambling or using as a base to see the Grand canyon and a bit of relaxation nnot sure
Jamaica Beach based holiday with a couple of excursions but mainly chilling, weather could be changeable.
Kenya the same unless taking in a week safari ( did this last year loved it ), not sure will come in on budget with the full on safari though.
Your holiday choices are quite different, perhaps if you tell a little more about the things you like, the destinations you have enjoyed ot might be easier to offer more help.
Kind regards
Stewart
