Hi, I am popping over to Tenerife for a week in March, just me and my other half, so we are looking for stuff to do in the evenings rather than just stare at each other over a pint trying to make different conversation each night! HAHAHA!!
But no in all honesty we are looking for a few nights where there is like a pub quiz on in one of the bars, or like a good "adult" comedy show etc.
If anyone can recommend anything it'll be much appreciated!
We are staying over by the San Eugino shopping complex so anywhere in town or around that area really.
We like the pheasant plucker which is just down the road opposite the Bouganville Playa. They have a quiz every night and different acts. The atmosphere is really good and the compere is really friendly. The star bar next door also gets pretty busy they do a lot of karaoke. The wai kiki bar is further down but isn't as good - the compere isn't as good, but that's just my opinion.
There is a ba ron that strip called Wali Hai. The compere is excellent with a mixture of entertainment fun and games.
The jungle bar which is at Puerto Colon is a fab place to be. They do have acts on in the evening time and Willy and his staff are great. It is a fun pub and fun you will have. But you will need a wicked sense of humor to enjoy.

rather than me trying to explain where it is, they have directions etc, its down by the beach, near to where you are staying
can anyone tell me where it is sounds like my sort of place be in tenerife in march
Get down the soul suite one night and enjoy.
When we were there in August (Bouganville Playa), the bar was very quiet, the entertainment consisted of quiz's all night played just for fun.(That would explain them waiting for licience). My mum's hoping they have, as she goes in March, and said it's an absolutely brilliant bar.
The star bar had karioke on,(Spelling! ) as did the bar further down (wai kiiki).
To be honest, purrrfect the sort of entertainment you mentioned, is the exact same of entertainment we enjoy, and we were deeply dissapointed at the lack of it, whether we were looking in the wrong places I dont know, but all we could seem to find was the quiz at Pheasant Plucker, and Karioke in a couple of the other bars.
Hope you have more luck!
Enjoy, have a great time. BBB.

well i was going to point you to a list of bars that i'd done reviews on but i can't seem to find them.
will search and get back to you.
Your big list and guided tour of bars seems to have disappeared wicked chris! What a shame, it was so helpful when we were over there a couple of years ago, and I was hoping to look through it again before we go back there next Easterwell i was going to point you to a list of bars that i'd done reviews on but i can't seem to find them
Hi Chris - we were at the Boug at Christmas and the Pheasant Plucker was our regular haunt! They had got their licence renewed and had some really good acts on. I think this is the best bar out of the Star Bar and walki hai - although all 3 were busy when we were there.
Hi Mary thanks for info on pheasant plucker - will pass info into my mum!! She'll be made up. Thanks again.
