According to one website the Parque Cristobal complex was fully refurbished in 2006.

Hiya we stayed at the Parque Cristbal back in 2004 and really enjoyed it, we were back in PDLA for last New Year and went to have a look around the new Parque Cristobal - looks very nice, the bungalows dont seem to have changed but the reception and pool area etc does, I asked the receptionist how to book from the Uk and she said through Thompson?? Hope that helps you.

I know Thomson used them before the refurbishment, but can't seem to find any info on their website for them, I'll perhaps try emailing them.
