Ive just booked our honeymoon in september for 2 weeks staying in sousse
Can you please tell me how expensive it is there and if there are any fishing trips available (husband to be's question) and what the night life is like please
Where about in Sousse are you staying?
There are boat trips from nearby Port El Kantoui and I think I saw some people fishing from one of those.
There isn't much in the way of nightlife, and if it's towards the end of September you may be staying during the holy month of Ramadan, and it's mainly hotel based.
Everything is unbelievably cheap there, once you get the hang of bartering, we went through about £500 spending over 2 weeks last year, for 3 of us, and this included a half day jeep safari as well as souvenirs and casual spending. I would recommend that you consider going on the two day sahara trip, it would make a memorable holiday even more so, and that will cost £140 or so.
Have a lovely time

In Sousse there is Bananas/Living. I felt so comfortable there, although with friends it was one place where I could just be myself and not feel vulnerable which unfortunately is a fact in Tunisia. They are GENUINELY lovely/kind people but the younger generation are always looking to make a fast buck! I basically look at it that £1 is worth just over 2 dnr so when asking the price of something, divide it by two and decide whether it's worth it!
Port El Kantoui is definitely worth a visit for the Marina/Shops/Cafes and the BEAUTIFUL white sandy beach. I went in August last year and swam in the sea for hours!!
Your husband to be will have no problem finding an opportunity to fish from El Kantoui but they will ask for money, so tell him to decide beforehand what he's prepared to pay.
HAVE A LOVELY TIME!!!
You can also pick up 'Pirate' boat trips from the port in Sousse itself and they usually stop and drop anchor so you can swim or fish from the boat. They are about half a day and you get a meal and soft drink as well. Like everything in Tunisia you don't need to accept the first price quoted but can haggle. There is another club called Bonaparte's (I think) which is almost opposite the Tej Marhaba Hotel. I haven't been there myself but people I know have recommended it.
