I have the chance of an renting an apartment for just £100 in August, flights would be £342 but all in all this would be a bargin in the school holiday period.
I'm just a little worried that there won't be enough to keep our 2 son's aged 3 & 5 entertained in the evenings.
We normally go for the holiday village type holiday where theres loads going on, but to do this in August would cost over £2000 for just a week.
Are there any bars or restaurants that are paticularly child friendly or even better anywhere where they have a mini disco or kids entertainment ?
Are there any family themed excursions to book like a wild west or pirates dinner show ?
I've read about Marineland and Waterworld which is great for the daytime, but its more the evenings that I'm worried about.
Any advice would be great
Things might have altered since i was last there , go and have a great holiday and make the most of whats on offer.
Blanes is a lovely resort. I have been there with children (although not as young as yours). The beach is gravel rather than sand so not good for sandcastles. There is a nice sandy beach around the headland on the other side of the harbour. Accessible by the water taxis or by driving round. There are plenty of small bars that would probably cater for kids. There is also a small funfair at the southern end of the resort. Does the apartment havea pool? I suppose it all depends on what sort of kids you have. Can they play and make their own entertainment or do they need to be entertained all the time?
