Anyway................just had to announce that I have just found, and am getting ready to book my Goa flights for next March.
British airways, 3 week return flight from Tenerife to Mumbai.....................wait for it
400 pounds return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats an absolute bargain!!!
Couple of days in Mumbai, then a nice cheap and easy flight to Goa.
Did say that this year was going to be my last visit for a few years...........but just can't resist.
Going to go to Mumbai, Gujurat, Taj Mahal, and Goa over the 3 week duration. Cos by then i will have my PIO!!!!
Good luck with the PIO. It's a great feeling knowing that you don't need a visa for the next 15 years.
Ok - so how do you get a POI (what does it stand for?)

It's a PIO card and is issued to Persons Of Indian Origin.

Suppose I am quite lucky cos in 3 weeks I marry a british guy who has Indian parents!!!!! Wil be quite funny for a Yorkshire Lass to be trotting around with a PIO!!!!!!!!!!!
