Italy has loads of music festivals, but might this be the Festival of Montepulciano? Try the Tuscan Tourist Board for more info or try googling Montepulciano Music Festival. Good luck!

Billyboy, I would think that about now would be the time to be booking accommodation in the town or in the locality! My personal experience of Montepulciano is nil, but I know that Italian concerts often start much later in the evening, after a good dinner!!, and so you might want to stay in the town itself so that you don't have too far to go home when the concert ends in the early hours!!
