no not yet i was hoping to do a bit of research first and then show them the prices, but i cant book for egypt paseed april on any web site even if i put in another airport

I would contact them direct and ask. Bookings can be allocated from other airports, but not Cardiff.
Strangely, they are taken bookings to Sharm El Sheikh for December 2007 from Cardiff.

I think you should contact them ASAP as it looks as thought they have stopped flying from Cardiff for the summer season :shrug

Cannot understand this comment. Holiday prices change so the price you paid may reflect an early booking.

If you have a concern about your own holiday then you need to contact them NOW - If they change the airport it could be classed as a major change, you then move into the area of compensation or cancellation without penalty.

MyTravel were taking bookings for Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh), however they used an allocation on Excel's flights.
Excel have pulled out of Cardiff (except for 1 or 2 flights) hence the holidays are no longer bookable (as MyTravel themselves do not fly there)
As for Winter flights (Oct-Apr) Thomson fly to Sharm, which is why it is only bookable in winter season.
I suggest you contact MyTravel ASAP if you have already booked.

If Excel Airways have dropped the route, MyTravel will have likely transferred you to the Bristol service (subject to your approval). MyTravel will be contacting customer by date of travel if the route has been suspended so will be in contact with you soon.

Hello, I used to work for MYT, you need to telephone the switch board number at rochdale (01706 742000) and ask to be put through to customer service, they deal with all programme changes and willadvise you on which alternative they will offer you, or, you may cancel free of charge. they work through the changes in date order, soonest departure date first, so with this in mind, you are better to contact them, so that if you do wish to cancel, you will still have time to book something else while it is still avaliable. i hope this helps. :idea:
