Did a wee bit of Detective work on 'google' and as far as I can see this Hotel may be a joint venture for the Hotels Erdem and Oscar. Looked at the Marmaris map and while I can't see a Hotel Erdem there is an Erdim. However ... Hotel Oscar is at No 83 on the map, by my reckoning it must be near McDonalds or along a bit towards the Marina if you know where I am. I could of course be way off the mark !

spot on wilson......... opposite side of the road to macdonalds..near the beach and town centre.....great location....silly name though, why didn't they go for Eros!

I've added this hotel to our review site (we had reviews for the Oskar where someone mentioned in 2005 that it had joined with next door)

hi stayed at hotel oskar august 2005 on bed and breakfast,the oskar and hotel erden next door have joined togeather and now called club eros.there were only my family(scottish) and 2 other english families that i seen here the rest were all inclusive russian guests.tried to go for breakfast once never got there for the long queue of russians.the rooms were nice mini bar, tv, clean i must have got around 20 to 30 phone calls and people at the door at all times could not understand what they were saying as of course russian ended up unplugging phone.prefered not to use pool as they got very drunk and very loud.still i go and visit the guys who worked there they now only work in the restaurant on the main street which the hotel rents out it is still called oskar. the guys told me last year that it was not catering all inclusive for russian guests this year as they were not making money and wanted the british tourists back but that does not look like it? sorry if i have went on a bit...cheers

We are off to Club Eros this Saturday and are AI. We only booked as we go to the Oscar each time we visit Marmaris as the lads who work in the restaurant are great. We have never actually stayed there though and have a feeling that we will not be in that part of the hotel unless they have incorporated it back into the main hotel. I certainly hope so as I can't say the thought of spending my holiday amongst a load of bladdered Russians holds much appeal.

Also, I have never been on an AI holiday before. I am aware that the drinks are "local", but what do they mean by this exactly? I only drink beer, so will it be Efes or the crappy stuff that comes in big plastic bottles? Mrs Emre is a bit more adventurous with her drinks, so what do you get spirit wise? I have a feeling I may be going out most evenings. Still, the holiday was cheap enough I suppose.
