I have never been Dubai before and would love to try it. Can anyone recommend a good Hotel (preferrably on the beach). My total budget for the holiday would be £1500 (this is for 2 adults).

Also can you tell me the best places to book a holiday. How much does taxis cost from the airport to the resort?

Also I have heard it is very expensive once you get there for food/drink etc. Is this true.

Is it easy to get around - I like walking.
