the best way to get advise is to say what sort of things you like, ie do you want somewhere quiet, lively, plenty of bars and shops or more scenic etc, turkey has lots of lovely places but all so different and everyone has their favourite places. so can you give us a better idea what you are after

Thank you Ellie Meq for your swift reply. We like to relax during the day either by the pool or the beach or maybe go for a little stroll. Evenings we like going for a nice meal and having a few drinks in bars that offer entertainment. Disco's are not our scene anymore but we would still stay up to 2 am. Our son is much the same during the day but he would go off and do his own thing in the evening once he had made some friends. Hope this helps. Thank You...

i would say you would be better in icmeler its not in your face as much as marmaris, the beach in icmeler is much better than marmaris too, icmeler is more scenic and not so loud and brash, as marmaris is only about 2-3 miles away you could also visit it anyway. the other area that might be worth looking at is olu deniz/hisaronu area, i do prefer it there but thats because the lagoon is so pretty and its more laid back and not quite so busy but theres plenty of night life in hisaronu 2 miles away. read up on the resort reports and have a look at the photo gallery too, good luck

We have stayed in Icmeler at Babadan Apartments which are handy for the Night Life without being right in it. These are through Thomson or you can book direct. Also there is Club Petunya which you can Book through Icmeleronline which are located beside the Turunc road at the back of Icmeler. Both accommodations are excellent.
