Sure, as you walk up the road towards the Highway and Bodrum, once you leave the bars and restaurants of Gumbet behind, keep walking on the right is a tiny restaurant, about room for 4 or 5 tables outside, called Konya Nergiz. Very good traditional food, and very cheap. In fact you might just get a beer in there, it's one of the few Turkish Restaurants that serves beer.
Directly across the road is the area where the Sunday Gumbet Market is held.
Continue on and on the left hand side there is a restaurant called Gozde and further up on the same side 01 Adana, which is the most expensive.
Either of these has great food - enjoy. And there is always someone who speaks English in each of them.
