hi had a look round olympic lagoon 3 weeks ago, the hotel is landside of the main road runnin down to nissi beach, quite a distance from the road to main building about 150mtrs passin pool areas on the way,i would say if you were on upper floors you might be lucky and even then quite a way away.someone stayed there recently may help more
Thanks for the info mate
Has anybody got any feedback good or bad about the olympic lagoon as we have a wedding booked sept this year, plus any suggestions of where to have the reception we are thinking about the hotel as there will be 35+ so logisticaly a nightmare.Look forward to hear what people have to say.[/b]
Have looked at the specific wedding topic at the top of the page ?
If you use the search button and search in this forum using "Olympic Lagoon" you'll find loads of past topics about the hotel.
Also check the hotel review section as there are reviews for the hotel there too.
I can tell you it has one of the largest if not the largest pool selection in Napa and it's situated out of the town beyond Nissi Beach in the Macronissos area of Ayia Napa. There's a new independent supermarket just outside the entrance along with a couple of newish bars and the taxis all park here so you wont find it difficult to get into Napa centre there's also a bus stop just outside too.......but you will need to bus it or taxi as on Shanks Pony it would take a long time and I guess it's a good 2-3 mile walk at least Your within easy walking distance of the water park though and it's a great day out.
We stayed next door at the brand new Tsokkos last Sept and the Macronissos area is my personal fav area having been visiting Napa 3 times a year for the last 18 years
Good luck & Enjoy
hi gaz, looked in on the olympic lagoon early one morning last june. superb pool area loads of room well laid out etc, lovely four star hotel, some of the rooms are in seperate wings so may be quieter, we even stayed for brekky which was quite sumptious, finishing off with a lovely bowl of grapes, quite a way outas others have said, lovely beaches in area my favourite being the quieter lantis beach, cheers
We were looking to stay at this resort but although the reviews here were good, the reviews elsewhere (real holiday reports etc) weren't the same and it was enough to put me off going ~ don't know if im allowed to include the link to the other reviews ~ if I am I will
Hi everyone we stayed here last year and dont let anyone put you off it was really lovely, the pool was the best iv ever stayed in,it is quite a bit out of napa but there are plenty of buses and taxis to get you there if you want, also there are quite a selection of bars and places to eat without having to go far,we went out of the kids holidays there were quite a few babies and younger kids so not too much splashing and dive bombing thank the lord, the beaches are by fear the best and there is one oppisite thats not too noisy, nissi beach is fantastic if your 18 but if not id keep away you wont be able to get on it after 9am anyway, have a fantastic time .
Thanks
Clair
Hi clair, if you could send me the pics that would be great. Only booked it this afternoon. When we get back we only have 5 weeks till we go to protaras with the children.
are you able to upgrade rooms on arrival
This hotel is fantastic we was there last year when the world cup was on and watched england get knocked out in a bar in aiya napa. Don't let anyone put you off this hotel the pools are amazing and the gardens perfect. You have to try the garden of eden while your there the food was gorgeous its a 5 min walk to the right of the hotel past the supermarket.
We've booked to go to the Olympic Lagoon B&B. I've emailed the hotel who say that you can pay to upgrade to all inlusive whilst there at between Cy£23 to £CY27 per day ( depending upon how many consecutive days you do it for). Has anyone done this, is it worth it or do you find it too limiting, ie having to eat there every day etc
