Hi there Vegas fans
I've travelled here from the Tunisia forum to here because... next October I am going to a wedding in Las Vegas.
My pal's daughter is planning a themed wedding in Vegas. Has anyone out there done this? Or been to one?
There seems to be plenty of options via the net. Indoor, outdoor, gangster, presley etc. At the moment it's all at the planning stage. hotel reviews are ten a penny but wedding planners! Would love to here from you Vegas nuts with comments, ideas, suggestions.
What's a great hotel to get married in and why? Or should it be out in the desert? Which would you choose? What theme would you choose for a Vegas wedding?
If you post on http://www.hitched.co.uk the planning forum there are lots of Vegas brides on there who can help.

Thanks for that. I.ll see what I can find there.
I got married in the evening outside and it was wonderful, there is loads to choose from tho!
my sister had a renewal of vows by elvis at a elvis chapel and it was brilliant too, loads of fun whereas ours was more romantic, depends what your after really
Id def recommend vehgas to get married in tho!
Any ideas? I have just read the report by Trailer Park Casanova and that has helped. They would like something special, can this be done in Las Vegas?
We have not decided which hotel to stay at yet, just returned from the Alladin which was Ok, would presume that they offer you a better deal for the wedding if staying at there hotel.
Information will be appreciated.

The Stratosphere has a teriffic chapel, nicely staffed with windows along the pewes overlooking Las Vegas, Quiet and serene, really well run.
Our local Las vegas friends said it takes the prize, they go to Vegas weddings all the time.
Here's a pic of my new wife at the top with the teriffic view:
This pic taken inside the Strats chapel . You can see the teriffic atmosphere and view.
The suite at the Strat was outdated, shopworn, mouldy wallpaper, dissapointing to the girls in the group compaired to modern suites at the Mandlay Bay or Hard Rock.
But like I said, the Strats Chapel was awsum, the service teriffic.
You don't need to book the expensive chapel packages that the Strat touts on the internet. You can simply drop all the frills and get the chapel, someone to perform the ceremony ($50 U.S.), the pixs and anything else and it's much cheaper.
Ilenes Formal wear on the strip had the most convienent location, and best prices if you don't do a theme.
She said she gets lots of Brits,, usually in groups of 6 for some reason.
Congratulations to you both on your recent marriage, your report was very informative. Can you book there wedding package, without staying at the hotel? When we visit Vegas, we like to stay middle strip.
Hi Dorra. You migh be interested in this website which gives a lot of useful info when planning a wedding abroad. If you follow the link below and scroll down you will find details of a real wedding in Vegas. Looks fab.
Yes, You can book the Strats wedding Chapel without being a hotel guest.
Me & my other half have finally decided to get hitched & Las Vegas is the place for us ! has anyone arranged a Las Vegas wedding themselves (preferably online) ? There will only be the two of us & we don't want anything too fancy ! Any hints & tips greatly appreciated.....Thanks !
I guess if you want to do it properly with the wedding dress and everything that it would take a bit more planning than that.
