Used ours in Portugal, a problem we had was that when you pay the bill in supermarkets/restuarants and they asked to enter your pin it wouldn't accept it, had to tell them to press the enter/ok button twice so as we could then sign for it.
Was using the correct pin as we withdrew money out a couple of times which we got charged for.
We also had a day when the system must have gone down because we went to pay the bill and it was coming up as an error, luckily we had some money on us to pay, tried the card in an ATM and it was also saying there was an error, ok the following day.
Have changed our current account to Nationwide now so we will be using that card this time as there are no charges for using or withdrawing money abroad.
