We stayed at this hotel for 4 days.
We had been planning to stay for 14 but found it too quiet for us. We were in Antigua off season and nearby English Harbour which has 25+ restaurants and bars only had 3 open in the evenings!
We had to take a taxi to get in(10 mins)- not a problem but you also had to prebook a return or you would have been stranded as English Harbour was almost empty by 10.30pm every night!
I really cannot fault the hotel. It is basic but we knew that. It is room only and they have no food or bar onsite. There is a supermarket nearby though. The room was big and had 2 double beds in it. It had a well equipped kitchette including toaster and coffee maker. They even provided kitchen roll, mosquito coils and matches. There was cable tv and a hairdryer. The room had a/c and a ceiling fan. We also had a good sized ocean view balcony. The room was clean and fresh linen and towels were provided. When they say you are 12 steps away from the sea they mean it.
The hotel is on its own little beach complete with sunbeds and palm trees for shade. The hotel also has a small swimming pool which we didn't use as we liked the beach. You also had free use of the hotel's kayak, sunfish, dinghies and peddle boats.
A couple of minutes walk away is a restaurant where we often wandered to during the day for a drink and to look out at the yachts there.
An idyllic setting- but if you go there you really should hire a car so that you see some of the many gorgeous beaches there are on the island.
Would I go again? If we went around Easter time we would have had more than enough going on at night to keep us happy. However, I would not return as I would stay near the middle of the island because we would hire a jeep again and explore the many beaches.
Falmouth is in the south.( We ended up in a great place Jolly Harbour Marina Villas- I have written a review for them)
