Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Lovely place to visit. Very safe and secure for families. Nice and quiet during the day,but can get quite busy at night. Plenty of bars and restaurants for you to choose from. Flintstones is good just off the strip,especially for kids.
Lovely beaches but do get busy. Sand gets red hot in summer months. 2 sunbeds and brolly cost 7.50 on fig tree bay beach.
Plenty of water sports and boat trips.
The resort is clean from litter but the payments, tho nicely tiled, can be very slippery when wet, but look like they could do with a really good scrub up as look a bit grubby. thats my only gripe !!!
Mc. donalds and KFC are there.

the resort is very clean.the entertainment could be better that is the only thing i would say lets it down ok if you like elvis.the one act you should see is the misfit he is a very good act.the beach is small at the hotel but it is only 15 minutes walk to a much bigger and better beach.

Protaras is a quieter and smaller version of neighbouring Ayia Napa. There are plenty of resttaurants, bars to eat and drink. All from differnt price ranges.
The majority of bars have happy hours and even outside of these, if you fancy a cheeky cocktail it wont break the bank.
One place I can recommend, if you fancy a burger and chips, go to Cheers, huge or what.
Most restaurants have seating places outside to eat or if not air con inside.
Only concern speaking to locals is that Protaras is getting busier and trying to become more like Ayia Napa. At present no signs of large groups of boys and girls and I hope it stays like that.
Beach amazing, didn't hire beds or brollies because hotel right on edge of beach. But everywher very clean and plenty of beach sports to do.

The resort of Protaras was excellent,lots of bars, restaurants, cafes etc many of the bars have really good entertainment for all ages,and the local beer Keo was good.Drink prices ranged from 2 to 3 euros for beers and local spirits.We found a fantastic bar called Rockerfellas, really good entertainment and a great pint, also enjoyed Cheers bar, lovely food and prices are great!

resort lovely and clean. Some amazing restaurants. Good shopping. Beaches are beautiful and sand underfoot all the way into the sea. Perfect really.

Found the resort overall very clean, there is some building going on and laying of a decking style walkway along the beach but didn't find it a problem even though virtually next door to our hotel, good selection of bars and restaurants, few of the bars throw entertainers so always something going on.

Pernera is quiet, but not dead, it has a lot to offer without being OTT

A great place to stay plenty of nice places to eat we would recomend happy days no1 food spot on.The beach was nice and the resort was good plenty to do.
