We have stayed at the Villa Andreas several times now and repeat guests but all guests, old or new are welcomed as long lost friends.
Bettina and Thasos who own and look after the property are exceptionally welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay special.
The property is located in a quiet location within olive groves an easy 10-15 minute easy stroll from the main harbour area of Parga and only a few minutes up the road from Golfo Beach (lovely Taverna there), a small supermarket is located next door and a bakery just down the road along with a larger supermarket slightly further on.
The property is very well maintained and looked after. Although not a large property there is a small poll and pool bar serving drinks and light meals, very nice they are too.
The pool is set in small gardens with ample sun beds and shade if required.
Depending on which particular type of room you have you may be directly beside the pool or have a bit of a climb to one of the upper level apartments.
The rooms are well maintained with modern furnishing and come with a proper shower and screen and importantly a toilet that you can flush paper down, if you have been to Greece before you will know how good that is.
Rooms are cleaned every day and towels changed daily with bedding changed every couple of days. There is also very efficient air conditioning in the rooms.
Within a few minutes there are 3 excellent Taverna's, Yanni's with the owner Yanni is probably my favourite and was the first in the location, it is just down past the Hotel Alpha, the 5 Senses restaurant is located within the Hotel Alpha and is very nice and a touch more modern and is superb, finally the Perivoli which is up past the Andreas and is well worth a visit.
So to conclude, would I go back to the Villa Andreas? - YES I would return again (and again and again) would I recommend the Villa Andreas? - Without any hesitation.
Bettina and Thasos also own and operate Synthesis Travel in the town and they will happily give you free information on what to do or where to go and visit.

Villa Andreas is a small family run hotel (22 rooms)on the outskirts of Parga. It is near enough for an easy walk into town but far enough away to be peaceful at night. There are however 3 good Tavernas within 5 minutes walk and plenty of others on the walk into town if you don't want to go all the way. Both beaches are reached within 10 minutes and unlike a lot of accommodation the Andreas is on the flat.
We stayed in the maisonettes which are up a lot of steps but worth the climb for the view over Parga. Very spacious, well equipped with utensils that are new and in excellent condition. The place is spotless, pool and pool area cleaned daily by Zana (who also does the rooms with Rula) to pristine, surgical standards. Any insects or leaves that drop in the pool are quickly fished out by head (!) barman Mike. Mike does a range of snacks during the day - always prepared and served with good humour providing you don't sit in his (the "manager's") chair! Mike is a one off and creates a great atmosphere.
There are several co - owners who are always available but the person you see most, and the star of the show is Bettina. You often read how friendly and helpful owners are but here it's something special. From the moment you arrive you are treated as family. Her smile and attitude would add to any holiday, but if things go wrong you see how wise your choice of the Andreas was.
Half way into an excellent holiday my eldest daughter became unwell. Bettina ferried us to and from the local Doctor several times and when it became apparent that we had to go to the hospital (60 km away), Bettina arranged not only the taxi but ensured the driver stayed with us to help (thanks Lambros!)and kept in touch with us via him so I did not incur roaming charges. My daughter needed an appendectomy and Bettina took charge, ensuring my younger daughter was cared for while we were in the hospital.
The surgery meant we had to stay another (3rd) week - fortunately at the Andreas and everyone made sure we were comfortable, and helped out with things such as washing laundry for us.
The first choice rep, Bernie, is excellent - incredibly helpful - and I hope first choice recognise this.
One other thing - Mike is a real animal lover and does not accept tips, but instead there is a tin on the bar for donations. He took in a cat who has taken up residence in the Andreas to be spayed last week (she has had many litters and is currently nursing 3 kittens) and it cost 150 euros. He also looks after the cats in the area in the winter, and makes donations to the welfare of local animals. So if you are staying or passing the Andreas and have any spare change at the end of your holiday...
Thank You all at Villa Andreas - sorry but we WILL be back!
