Just had 2 weeks at Oasis, a friendly, family business run by Mike, who gave everyone a welcome drink and info. Set back from the main road it is quiet most of the time. You do get noise from the airport, but that doesn't impact greatly and it's pretty good seeing planes leave or arrive from your balcony. It is close enough to walk into town, but far enough removed to be quieter and with a pool and grounds to wander through.
The studio was small, but it had everything needed, including a free safe. There was a wardrobe with large drawers, a dressing table and bedside cupboards. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave & 2 cooking rings (never used) along with a toaster & kettle. The fridge had an ice box with tray, so plenty of ice! The cleaning crew came in everyday and the bed linen and towels were changed every 2-3 days. The pool isn't huge, but big enough to have a decent swim in or just cool off on a couple of convenient perching ledges. There are ample sunbeds, hammocks and seats so no need to get up with the sun to bag a sunbed. There are also plenty of shaded spots too if you want to get out of the sun for a while.
Attached to the bar was a large room with sofas and a big pool/snooker table with table tennis also available.
Given events of the last couple of years it truly was a relaxing oasis.

We actually stayed at the Sunrise Apartments below the Tapas Bar, the lady/owner there was extremely kind on Friday 12th September 2008 when XL went bust and told all of there clients not to worry and keep their rooms. They assured us there was no problem until we found a way to get home.
We then used the Oasis apartments and pool bar for two days until we were informed we were to be taken by boat to Greece mainland and bused to Athens to be flown home by Jumbo plane.
We are grateful to all concerned.

The rooms were kept clean, staff helpful, Owner Mike was great. Friendly and very helpful, had a great sense of humour and made us all feel very welcome as did his wife Elenni.
Apartments are in good quiet location 10 Min's walk to bars, restaurants etc, gardens of apartments were lovely, plenty of hammocks and chairs to relax in. Pool a little small but plenty of sunbeds. Food was very good and portions quite large.
The barbecue nights that Mike puts on are to say the least belly busting if you like lots of meat you will enjoy, lots of salads and rice to go with it.
We have been back twice and were treated like old friends on our return and would certainly go back again.
