We have visited many Riu hotels, and expected the usual high standards they maintain. We were not disappointed; it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was spotless from top to bottom, pool area cleaned throughout the day, no litter anywhere, and no screaming children! Food amazing, would satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. Champagne breakfast every morning if you so desire! Location right on the beach, showers etc for you to use as you come in off the beach. Staff more than helpful, couldn't do enough for us. We were given a suite with a separate lounge and flat screen t.v. in both bedroom and lounge. The balcony was glass fronted with comfortable loungers on, it was like being in the cinema watching the world go by. Entertainment was low key. A resident band played each evening and were really quite good. There was a Beatles tribute bsnd also who were excellent. Most of the holydaymakers were older than us (we are in our mid fifties);but this made for a more relaxing holiday. Bed reserving is in force (even though it says not to). After the first couple of days we reserved our beds too!The management didn't seem to bother.Clean pool towels provided daily by the pool.Saves on weight when packing and washing on your return home. would definitely return.

Unfortunately we were put in this hotel due to an overbooking by Thomas Cook 3 days before we were due to travel.
The Staff at the hotel are very friendly and multi lingual as the hotel is predominately German. The hotel is really for older people who was a peaceful and very quite holiday. Not suitable for children.
The entertainment is poor only a Spanish group singing waltz's rumbas etc.
The hotel restaurant is very good but has a strict dress code.
The pool area had a lot of crumbling concrete and flaking paint which was hastily repaired after a complaint from a guest.

We loved this hotel - the food was amazing - none of our party eats meat - and yet we still all had an abundance to choose from wth every meal - choosing also to stay at the hotel for lunch (recommend the Salad bar at lunch time!!)
The staff were all really friendly - the cleaning staff in particular were great - adding little special touches !
Located right on the beach this place was just a perfect little oasis for anyone wanting to chill out and relax !
The hotel had entertainment almost every night which went on to about 1am or so - this was passable, verging on quite good on occasion - but always entertaining!! and while the shows were varied there was a resident singing duo who played most nights after the shows for anyone wanting to hit the dance floor !!!

This hotel is excellent, our room was spotless, this is in tune with the rest of the hotel.
There were a lot of rich Germans staying, which is a good indication of the quality of the overall accomodation, as they are fussy.
The food was unbelievable (both quality and quantity), the variety was brilliant. This was complimented by choices of meals from other countries on "theme nights" during our stay. The bars served cocktails at a reasonable price which were potent!!
The reception staff were helpful, and the waiting staff were both courteous and friendly.
The evening entertainment was acceptable, but a bit repetitive, but this did not spoil our holiday in any way.
The location of the hotel is tremendous, right on the sand dunes, only a 5 minute taxi ride to Corralejo, yet calm and peaceful at night.
