We visited this hotel in June 2013. We are not a fussy family. We are not fussy eaters, and do not expect 'the best'.
The rooms are very large and cleaned every day with fresh towels. Our 2 rooms were on the ground floor, and although the pool was right outside the door, this was not a problem, bearing in mind that we were there before the Summer hols began! Ideal for nipping back to the room if necessary. We had a safety deposit box, which I think was unnecessary, but better safe than sorry. The pool was great, good temperature, cleaned daily and a water slide for all to use. There was only 1 day where all the beds were taken, so Charlie (the manager) offered to get more out. Drinks were allowed by the pool, but no glass for obvious reasons.
The staff were very friendly, but only really Charlie spoke decent English. My daughter bought a phrase book and I think the locals were impressed that she was trying.
This was the first year the hotel had done all inclusive and the food was very Turkish! Salad - very nice. Breakfast - ok. Most days the hot evening meal was a stew type meal - sprout stew, fish stew, and very hit and miss. We tried everything, but by week 2 were eating out! I love salads, but even this got monotonous. The beer is weak, but then if you were drinking strong stuff all day, there would be a lot of drunken guests! The proper beer you pay for, and the bar stops being all inc at midnight!
Entertainment laid on every night, but week 2 was identical to week 1! The main town is only a 5 minute walk away and ideal for our teenagers. Foam party bars, loud music, cheap shops and a funfair. None of which could be heard from the hotel. Our daughter went out and went with a couple of the hotel waiters, who looked after her. All very safe and we had no worries, while having a quiet drink elsewhere. Meals out were approx £10 a head. Dolmus (local bus) is really cheap and picked up right outside the door.
Fethiye market on Tuesdays - fabulous. The food market is a visual feast! We got there about 8am before the crowds and the heat, which was a good move. Boat trips from Fethiye - about £8 a head incl. lunch and is a great day out. Boat trip from Olu Deniz - same price - smaller boat so very seasick! Jeep safari - buy a water pistol and laugh all day. Be warned - only lunch included, so money is required for drinks, snacks, rafting, gorge walking, etc..
All in all a good holiday but we wouldn't go again. Hisaronu suited the kids, but think Blackpool!!!
