All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

As I did not spend much time away the hotel I can only comment on what little I saw and have marked accordingly.
I did and have always find it annoying being followed by shop staff when ever I entered any of the shops as happened almost every time I entered one.

I love this resort and think it suits singles, the young and familys. There are all the facillites for a great holiday. I would particularly recommend Tony's Kareoke Bar situated next to the Iceberg Disco.It's a brilliant night out starts around 9pm
Things to watch for. The taffic, they all drive like nutters. If hiring a car check out a pre paid funeral plan at the same time you'll need it. The other popular local sport is sinking rawl bolts in to the pavement leaving about 2 inches sticking up. These are left over after little market stalls are taken away but they are a real hazard to pedestrians.
I hadn't been to Sunny Beach for 4 yrs and really noticed the increase in the cost of things. The place is still a cheap resort compared to other European options but is not the ridiculously cheap holiday it once was.Despite this I thourghly recommend this resort.

was slightly worried before going on holiday as i heard that bulgaria could be a bit dodgy, so was suprised when i saw nothing in a week. The people in bulgaria couldnt be any friendlier, everyone who served us was happy to help. there is lots to do in the resort everything from bungee jumping to ice skating and a wide range of restaurents and bars. everything in the resort is so cheap, you can easily get a meal with drinks for what is equivalent to a fiver. yes people aproach you trying to get you to visit there bars etc but there nowhere near as pushy as ive seen in other resorts. if you say no thank you, theyll move on to the next person. nessebar is well worth a visit, and the fresh fish we had was lovely. i would also highly recommend mamaciatas mexican restaurent in the centre of the resort- the food was so good we had to go back on the last night! the beach was also lovely- it wasnt exactly the warmest week when we went- it rained a lot but we were told this is very rare but somehow the sea was still warm to swim in. in september the resort was very quiet, although this may appeal to some people. if i return, which i probably will,it will be in peak season, and hopefully get a bit of sunshine then too!

First time in Sunny Beach and we absolutely love it. The beach was brilliant, and the sea was very warm, the nightlife was great, with or without kids, i will definately be visiting this resport again. Watch out for fruit sellers, and always check your money even in the crown change booths, as they tried to short change us twice.
A trip to nessibar is a must.

the resort is great but beware of unsteady pavements and there are a lot
the beach is spotless the sand like talk its lovely

it is very clean a few loose pavement flags , it is all market stalls more than bars the beach is five star very nice and clean but i would not go back as never go same place twice

we arrived as the season winds down .best places for goodfood are bistro billy and his new resterant next door.sit and listern to the singers .while enjoying a beer for 1lev,cocktails 2 for 1,
watch out forsome barsto sell you local spirit then give you inported at four times the price,this happenedin the "house" and people voted with there feet full one night less than a dozen next night,eat local its cheaper and better is a gammon steak worth£11.50/22 levs does shepards pie have pastry on top all this and others can be found at the national

Given the fact that this was the tail end of their season,the overall cleanliness of the resort was good.
