When my family and I arrived at the hotel i thought it was really posh, it look likes a palace with the christmas lights all around, it was stunning. The staff waited on you hand and foot, it was as if you were royalty. We made friends with the waiters at the pool and in the lobby. Mohammed was great, we was all sad to say goodbye. We are going back November this year with even more family members, it is going to be awsome, its the best hotel i have stayed at and i have been to quite a few. xx

we stayed at this hotel for a fortnight in october with our13 month old daughter, thought the airport was a nightmare no facilities to change our daughter had to do it on the sink in the end, as the floor was far too dirty in the toilets.

hotel grounds are beautiful and views are stunning. we was shown to our room, and the staff all seemed friendly, which after the first day we loved them, some of the most friendly people we've met! always spoke to us especialy at the pool bar, we stayed in the main hotel, our room was cleaned everyday however the bathroom was clean - but grubby grout etc which i thought was a let down for a 4/5 *
got the odd lizard in our room too. room service food was cheap and we enjoyed this alot more than the restaurant.
I was pregnant also (early stages, so had to be careful with what i was eating) food was very bland with no taste, we lived on pizza and chips the whole two weeks. there was salads, fruit which looked lovely but we wasn't sure if it would be washed in bottled water so never tried them. i fell ill the second week, so we never got chance to leave the hotel, we had to cancel our boat trip, and i couldn't go in the pool with our daughter, my partner took her in and the staff asked where i was and if i was ok which was nice of them, again didnt see much entertainment (on and off toilet constantly) but it looked good, planes did wake you up sometimes, but we soon fell back to sleep.
Had to cancel our trip to sea being ill and the hotel staff rang us to collect our money we was impressed with that!
they love children at this hotel, sometimes it gets a little annoying when your trying to eat your meal etc but you seem to just get used to it after abit. burgers at the pool bar are by far the best you get chips and salad if you wish too, you need to get a table early though 11am ish.
theres a chemist and mini super market across the road from the enterance - you can get english chocolate bars, walkers crisps, coke, fanta, bottled water etc we pften went a pigged out on these snacks.

We have been to sharm a number of time over the past 5 years, and never had any complaints untill now.
Our whole holiday was ruined by the staff, it wasn`t just the one it was all of them, they were so rude the first night we were totally ignored when trying to get a drink thought it was a one off but was the same all week.
There was only luke warm water and you had to buy the bottles, anywhere else we have stayed in sharm they can`t seem to give you enough. You would ask for a glass of water then get 10 mins later, when the weather is in the 50s you need to be dinking at leased 2 lt a day.
The couple we were with had to change some travlers cheque they were told to photo copy there pass port and to hand over the recipt for the cheques, they did all this and were still refussed they were told the signature did not match, it was rubbish My friend was without money for 3 days because her husband was on a course for the 3 days and she didnt want to go to Nama Bay on her own.
At the end of the holiday we paid

We had stayed at this Hotel last year and had no problems at all, enjoying it so much that we decided to return this year.
The Hotel itself we stayed in the main part is lovely, the room was OK but the bathrooms do need upgrading.
The food was a let down this year, my husband and I both had Food Poisoning and ended up having a Doctor's bill for

We stayed at the Concorde hotel in a Sport room for one week on an all inclusive basis. We stayed at a similar hotel in the same resort in May 2006 so our comments are based on a comparison with that hotel.

The Concorde hotel is split into two. There is the main hotel and the Sport side. It appears to be one hotel when it suits and when it doesn't, two separate hotels.
Sport side is very close to the airport, the main hotel is close to the beach.
Hotel appeared to be clean. Rooms cleaned daily.

Food was quite bland, and what appears to be standard all inclusive type buffet. Seven nights of the food was as much as we could take. Stomach cramps were experienced by one of our party, and many other guests complained of same.
Location of this hotel is not good. Sport side is far too near the airport.

On a couple of nights we were woken by airplane noise so loud that the furniture in the room vibrated and shook. We didn't ask to move rooms as we feared being moved to a room close to extensive construction work which is ongoing at the hotel.

At the main hotel, the beach is a real disappointment.
It is not a nice beach, more like sharp gravelly sand. It is quite steep descent from the hotel to the beach and not worth the energy. Not child friendly.

Majority of the hotel staff were really great. We had one bad experience in the main hotel at evening meal. Our young daughter had been invited to the Kids Club disco in the main hotel.

We thought we could eat in the main hotel then go to the disco. No. "Sport" guests wear blue AI wrist bands. Main hotel guests wear green. Wearing a blue wrist band at evening meal in the main hotel resulted in the main waiter demanding payment for the plate of food our daughter was about to eat. Same hotel, same food, different building, different rules. Apparently its OK to have breakfast and lunch in either hotel but not evening meal.

We wouldn't dream of visiting this hotel again, we had been led to believe this hotel was the best in the area in its price range. It clearly isn't. We enjoyed the sun and the swimming pool but regret booking this hotel.

We thought the hotel was fantastic, we stayed in the main hotel. The food was 1st class good selection every night, the beach is very gritty but all Egyptian beaches are.

The snorkelling is out of this world a must even if you are a novice, keep trying the reward is so worth it.

We thought the all inclusive should go on till 12 o'clock.

Although we had booked the 'Sport' accommodation First Choice ommitted to mention that the hotel is in fact divided into two distinct parts.

If you want to use the kids club on the evenings then you need to be in the main hotel as you cannot use the dining facilities in the main part of the 'complex' if you are booked into the sport. All Inclusive is described by the rep as a new 'concept' in egypt, that is, the bar closes at 2300 hrs and you have to pay after that time.

Hotel cleanlines cannot be faulted and the staff are exemplary in their friendliness and also caring for clients.

Location is just too close to the airport although you do adjust quickly to the infrequent flights.Beach which is only accessible from the main hotel complex is of a shingle type and very uncomfortable.

80% of clientele are of russian nationality and in our opinion they are the NEW Germans, quite rude, ignorant and invariably drunk.

Entertainment in the SPORT section needs to be addressed but the main hotel is slightly better, sort of two class system seems to operate.

Picked the hotel based on operators website advertising, wish I had read the reviews first.

We would not visit this particular hotel again.

Hotel & grounds beautifil & very well kept, very clean, gardens lovely, also low rise so that added to relaxation .

We were in sports complex, which is right next to airport, we thought that would be a problem, but as it turned out we (surprisingly) adjusted quickly & hardly noticed it, even though sometimes the whiff of aviation fuel drifted over the pool !!!!!!!!!

However feel the tour operators should warn you about this.

the staff were brilliant, very friendly & hardworking, you can't even fetch your own drinks, & that standard of cleanliness is the best we've seen.

o.k so tipping is a way of life, but it wasn't the constant handout we thought it would be, just did it at the end of the holiday , feel a communal tip box would be a better alternative.
Staff were always willing to chat & were really happy to tell you about Egypt & how their life is lived.

Be prepared for 'the Russians', come back Germans all is forgiven.

Entertainment is what lets this hotel down, very 'samey' only 1 weeK programme & finishes way too early, or have we been spoiled by Spain .

First time to Egypt, definately would go again. The hotel was lovely, we stayed at the main hotel complex which in my opinion is better than the sports complex.

The staff have to be about the most helpful and charming i've ever come across, nothing was to much trouble, we tipped because of the excellent serv ice we received not because it was expected.

What we saw of the entertainment, we weren't terribly impressed with although my 7 year old loved the floor shows by the animation team. Us adults found then russian fashions rather entertaining (pink shell suits and even a fox stole!!!), althought their manners and arrogance was less than amusing, it was down right disgusting at times.

Went snorkelling for the first time, what an amazing experience, the coral and fish were fascinating. We met some lovely people and had a fabulous holiday. if in had any complaints to make it would be that the all inclusive finished far to early (11 o'clock, coincidently the time the night club opened so drinks had to be paid for) and non motorised water sports weren't included which I found a bit unusual.

Went to the water park, which was a lovely day out, went on the bedouin experience trip, which to be honest our family found a bit boring and "set-up". apart from that we didn't feel the need to leave the complex

Fabulous hotel, fabulous staff, fabulous weather, what more could you ask for.
