The resort is a very qiuet plase with a good handful of restuarants and lovely little beaches with snacks bars at hand. If you like to venture out then ciutadella is a few kilometres away and bus runs regularly and for 5.50euros for 4 of us to get into the beautiful old capital and your there in 5 mins. The steak house in santandria is lovely well worth a visit. My favourite place and I will return to this lovely part of menorca

The resort was very quiet, with a handful of bars/restaurants. The beach was clean as was the sea water which was crystal clear. This is more a family resort and the one group of 18-25's we did see mainly took taxis to towns elsewhere. There is no night clubs however the Hotel Andria has some night entertainment at weekends.

Cala Santandria is small with a clean safe beach, nearby cala blanca also has a clean beach-the guards were even handing out free ashtrays to avoid people stubbing their ciggies out on the sand.
My husband enjoyed the snorkling round both bays.loved the sa nacra bar in cala santandria-2 other bars their but not as good the sa quadra restaurant is supposed to be good ( a bit too pricey for us).
Ate most nights in cala blanc-10 minute walk. Jennys bar for a cheap (no frills meal)couple of chinese places. Some posher grub round cala blanca bay. Don't go if you want loud discos and hen /stag dos- (although I noticed the irish bar in cala blanca is open till 4am)but great for families

Cala Santandria is very small but perfect for families looking for a quiet stay. Cala Blanca nearby has plenty of bars and restaurants with a wide range of prices so ther should be something for everyone.

Very nice and quite, for the evening we went into the neighbouring cala blanca, which was 10 mins walk away, made a bit more of an evening with a little walk and a bit more to watch.
