great hotel ,meals although bacic there was something for everybody ,the general manager mehmet satar always found time to speak to you .the pool bar staff were great everyone of them . would recommend this hotel to my friends to stay at

I recently stayed at the Kervansaray in Marmaris and I enjoyed my holiday so much that I am going back there next year. The entertainment staff were really fantastic and made my holiday completly stress free. All the staff were really helpful. The food was excellent, really delicious and there was a wide range of drinks avaliable from the bar.

Once we had decided to move rooms, although meaning it would not be adjacent to our friends, we were much happier in the aprarment accommodation opposit the main hotel. I cant imagine what it would have been like to sleep for 14 nights lined up in beds like solidiers not to mention all the feet tapping past the door in the night!
The food was great, with lots of new tastes to try including outside BBQ and Pancakes, etc. My son is food phobic and he managed not to starve. Anyone who says it is horrid must live on burger and chips.
The apartment and hotel areas were kept spotlessly clean and the staff were very happy to please all around the hotel (including the Jewellery salesman!)
The entertainment was a little weak (although staff lovely) and you got the feeling that this may be the first time that the british had been put into this hotel although it was good to meet people from around the globe. If you fancy a change you could try the pub along the road (with the Peter Andrew lookalike manager!)
I would visit this hotel again and would definately recommend it and if anyone reading this is booked then they should most definately not be worried - you will have a wonderful time!

I spent 2 weeks at this hotel and was so happy to leave! I paid 40 Euro (non-refundable) for a safe deposit plus 15 just to use the control for airconditioning. The staff, especially bar personnel, was downright rude and animation only played techno music day and night and takes guest to a disco where I got ripped off! 50 Euro for 1 drink and no change back. At the hotel, the animation and even cooks tried to makeadvances and one even followed me to town! The nurse does not speak English and I had to pay 100 Euro for a Doctor just for a blister treatment!Location is loud and too far to walk to city center. I lost 4 kilos cause food was so bad. It was impossible to swim in pool after 9 in the morning - overcrowded and not so clean! In short, worst hotel experience in my life and a waste of money. I needed vacation after 2 weeks at Kervansaray!

We recently stayed at the hotel Kervansaray and our stay was completely enjoyable. We had a maid come to our room every day and the day before we left, she covered our beds with rose petels.
There was a wide range of food to suit our taste and we enjoyed the turkish food. The hotel was five minutes from the beach as well as the town. Both were easy to get to.
We made quite a few friends with the staff (beyhan and odezimir) and they were very friendly, polite and helpful. the entertainment staff were fantastic, they made our holiday complete and made us feel really welcome.
We played a wide range of sports. for example, darts, volley ball, water polo, water games and table tennis.
we had a laugh with james, teo and the d.j.
We would recomend this hotel to anyone who wanted to have a great time. we wish to go back there soon and intend to do so.

The hotel was great in all areas , remember your abroad and you`ll have a great time, the first impressions are you stand in the great spotless marble reception , greeted by happy to see you staff.
Pool, rooms, bars its all so clean and the staff never stop to keep the hotel sparkling !!!
Foods great too, from morning to night its there and its great if you need anything then just ASK 11 and there never too much they can do for you.
Swim, play the slides, poolsports its all there.
Travel to the centre is just 1 min outside the front door meet the locals and see where they live its all.
Real life Marmaris style, the Dolimuses go from every direction so never be afraid to venture out and enjoy the town.
Night life great just get down to the front and walk left / right and you`ll soon come accross the nightlife .
Its that great in MARMARIS THAT WE`VE booked to go back in September then JUNE 05 then September again ...

i stayed in the kervansary in marmaris in may 2004 for a fortnight all inclusive , the hotel was lovely and clean , however the food was an absolute disgrace. the should not have british people staying there all inclusive as they do not cater for british at all. you couldnt even eat breakfast there we ate out for the entire holiday as did every other british holiday maker there. the drink was a total joke and the bar staff were horible and you dont get icecream or ice lollys for children there either. i would never go ther all inclusive and the rep just didnt want to know. the manager of the hotel had a disagreement with a scottish couple over ther phone bill and he pulled a gun on them. this hotel was a joke

We stayed in the kervansaray hotel for 14 nights.
Although you couldnt fault the food it wasn't what we were used to.
We found that the rooms were clean. Although there were a few maintenance jobs needed doing.
We met a nice Scottish couple who told us that the manager Memmit pulled out his gun to them over a phone bill, which worried us apart from this Memmit and his staff were very helpfull and nice.
Entertainment wasnt that good but tunc,james,teo.ozgiul and sandra were a pleaser to meet we still are in touch with them.
Hoping to go back next year.

My family and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was spotless every day and we had no worries about valubles being left out. All staff were very trustworthy.
The location was great. Taxis and the local dolmus bus service are at the end of a small walk way from the hotel.
The only thing that let this hotel down was the food. For an English Breakfast you will need to visit Gingers or Castles just down from the hotel. My husband and I found food to eat but our daughter got bored after 3 days of pizza, burger and chips so we had to go out and buy her food. There salads were very nice but the same every day.
Would I go back. Yes. This is an excellent hotel and the slides in the swimming pool are a godsend for hyperactive kids!!!!
