In general, we had a pretty good time. However, embarking in New York took very long. What annoyed us most, was the dress code in the dining room at dinner. It seems almost anything goes. Although you specify a certain manner of dressing, it seems you can walk in wearing anything. Nothing is enforced. We also found the breakfasts in the Lido deck to be the same everyday. I know we could have gone to the dining room, but I feel there could have been a little variety even at the buffet. The buffet at lunch, was difficult to manage. The salad bar was in 1 place, the bread in another, if you wanted tuna with your salad you had to go to the deli line. I once waited 45 minutes in line for a scoop of tuna!! Finally you get your food, and you can't find a seat. Although it may sound trivial to you, these are the things that passengers remember. The staff all around the ship were very nice and helpful.

My wife and I have sailed with Carnival on 5 occasions now and are dedicated Carnival fans, due to their very high standards at most reasonable prices. On this occasion, we sailed from New York on the Carnival Miracle to San Juan, Costa Rico...St Thomas...and Tortola. The Miracle lived up to our high expectations and really could not be faulted. It is an almost new ship and therefore runs smoothly and quietly. The cabins are roomy and impeccably serviced. The food is excellent and plentifull. All staff aboard are pleasant and most helpful. Our friends who travelled with us were very impressed, to the point that we have all booked to join the Miracle again in November, when she will sail from Fort Lauderdale.

Just returned from cruise on Miricle,I would advise anyone booking to book a balcony cabin as all the outside cabons are on deck one and most of the venues are above these cabins .We were awake at 0400 most mornings by cleaners working in the restrooms above, complaining did not solve the problem, otherwise
cruise fine.
