Grandeur is an older ship ,and is showing signs in places but not many ,she is superbly maintained and does not look her age.The crew keep the ship very clean and replace the carpets every five months or so ,this also makes her look nice and well groomed.
the food in the main dining room was tasty and well presented much better than Independence although its the same menu,it was hard to recognise it as the food was so much better.
The self serve windjammer, although the food was good large amounts of people crowding round the buffet puts one off a little ,also trying to get a place to sit and eat when so crowded not a good idea'
Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, and I have no complaints there.
I thought the entertainment was very good and plenty of it being Christmas ,they really made an effort ,and the Captain is a born comic and we enjoyed his humour.I would sail on her again but only over Christmas as I believe the ship is known as a booze cruiser the rest of the time doing 4days.
