Maybe it was because the ship was only ever two thirds full that Superstar Libra in the Med was the best time we have ever had. The crew, food, equipment and entertainment was excellent and although we only had an inside cabin it was enough why spend time in the cabin anyway!! The ship clearly was geared up to cater for the Asian market and their love of gambling so the crew found it strange that the passengers cruising in the Med had little if any time for the casino. Passengers were Maltese, Italian, British and French mainly. The shore excursions were good and compared to the price of some (Island Cruises or Costa) were very cheap being priced in Dollars. It is with some regret I read that Libra will NOT be returning to the Med in 2007. I can only hope that Starcruises will rethink their market strategy and come back with all guns blazing for 2008 because for value for money they would be hard to beat.
