You said you have just come back and a lot of work is going on at the Tropical. We have just booked to go there and are due to go in 5 Weeks so do you think it isn't going to be open?

Wilson family, the tropical was finished being built last year and was open last year. All they are doing is cleaning it up and some general maintenance in time for it opening in July.

Is anyone going to the Tropical in July? Or the Palace?

I think this may have been answered before but the satellite tv that is described in the brochure, do we get english channels or is it all foreign? I ask as we had a villa once and it was all german, we was very bored! Have very young children who I don't think will keep up with the pace!

Not that I watched much telly but there definitey is English speaking channels, the ones I can remember are BBC Prime, Sky news and Sky Movies. Oh and Eurosport too I think.

Loogieboggie used the turkish bath etc i sent her a pm and she gave me loads of info on it so im sure if you pm her she will do the same and tell you about taking the kids.
I dont think you could take them to sauna steam room area but maybe if they werent in clubs then someone in the health spa would entertain them for you.......im sure louise will have more info.

Hopefully your kids will got to sleep in the buggies and you can stay out and enjoy your nights thats what im hoping for with my baby!!!!!!
My other son has alwasy done that on hols gone to sleep at his normal time in his pram and we just lift him into bed when we go back to room late late some nights (bad parents i know but we are on hols) although with this little monster im not so sure he will be that easy for us he goes to bed great in his cot at 6pm everynight dont think he will be so happy to oblige in the buggy but im crossing everything and hoping!!!!
Hope you dont have to watch too much tv!!

Sorry, didn't mean to worry you

Don't worry about it not being open when you go. All they were doing was a lot of drilling in the ampitheatre (they've put up a large screen for all of the football games). Cleaning pools and cutting grass etc. Also a lot of the room windows were open so it looked as if they were being aired.

The pools and slides looked great. I'm glad my daughter wasn't with us when we looked around because I know she would have liked the look of the striped one.

To anyone getting married we saw loads of weddings and the wedding gazebo is lovely.

hi my names mark was anybody in the pp hotel between the 20th may and the 3rd june i was the chicken man on the hypnotist show as i was jumping up and down through winning 10 million on the lottery my wife was unable to get any photos or video can anyone help us out. any help would be much appreciated thanks in anticipation.

Im so excited!! Ive only got 2 sleeps until I go to Pegasos Palace.

Just wanted to write to tell everybody what a FAB FAB Time we had at PP. Was very worried like everyone else before we went but SO glad we didn't cancel.
We had 9 year old and 9 month old with us so wasn't sure how things would be. Hardly saw 9 year old (made lots of friends and complex extremely safe for her to only surface when she wanted something!).
Our Baby was equally good and happy and loved sitting in the shallow end of the main pool (can't crawl yet so that was useful too!).

Hotel, Facilities, Cleanliness, Food, Drinks, Food, More Drinks all excellent! Couldn't complain about anything (apart from the some of the miserable Brits who did nothing but moan because there towels had been removed from beds they'd "reserved". There is a "no reservations" policy before 9am so anybody who does put there towels down before 9am will get there towels removed. This is a great idea because it gives everybody a chance to get a sunbed. After the first couple of days people stopped doing it (or stayed with their towels once out) so it left plenty of choice for all.

No problems with space at Kids Club apart from one day when I forgot and turned up 15 minutes late. However, we just went back for the later session so she didnt miss out.

We have only been back one day and are already looking to book for next year.

Cheers themcs that is so assuring feel so much better today. Did worry a little (actually a lot) cos we have just transferred from Kos Aqua Beach Club because they couldn't give me a definite yes that it would be fully built and ready in July.

We were actually sat just behind you. Out of the whole two weeks this was the funniest night we had. I know that whenever we hear that music from now on my sister and I will do chicken impressions.

You will have a great time. Sorry you had to cancel KABC. We are going there next May. If it is only half as good as the PP it will be great.

We are going to Pegasus Palace on 21.8.06 (2 adults 2 kids), just paid the balance and received a letter from First Choice saying there is a dormant building site located next to Hotel. They say not work will take place during our holiday and work will re-commence in November.

Has anyone just been and if so can you confirm to me what the site is and if work is happening? Thanks

They are correct re the building site. I'm just back 2 weeks ago and it was deadly quiet, in fact if you can get a room overlooking the building site, grab it! Its the quietest part of the complex!

There are laws in Turkey that don't allow building in Tourist areas from May to October. Don't worry, you won't have any problems.

me my wife and little girl of five are going to the pegasos palace
on the 13 of july .we where also going to kabc but we pulled out
as we where not sure if it will be finished on time so we booked
the pegasos palace and with all the good reviews it has got it
will be a very good holiday

Yes it definitely Looks like we are set for a great holiday.
You will be able to tell us all the little tips when we arrive as you are travelling a week before us.
