Nothing the earlest i will book is 3 months in advance usual only a few weeks, i refuse to pay the extortionet list prices [even with the so called early booking discount,]
As we have to go during school holidays we never find that prices are that much cheaper, so we book early to make sure that we get exactly what we want. Believe it or not the hotel we wanted to stay at in Tenby in March was already booked up, but at £69 for DB& B for 2 nights and happy hour bar prices all weekend, I suppose it was to be expected.
I've booked a flight to New York in March didn't cost too much as I've used my Airmiles. I have also booked a hotel but will look for something better a couple of weeks before I go as I can cancel my first hotel without charge. Right now March seems to be a long way away.
then its hubby's 40th in july, so we'll have our 2weeks somewhere in europe, unfortunately it'll be school holiday time, so we'll have to see whats cheap (?!)
Protaras, Cyprus in May and Seahouses in August and hopefully a week in Benidorm in October.
jamaica may '08 first time in jamaica and first time booking with portland.
We have so far booked Goa for 2 weeks in March, now trying to decide where to go in summer
Flights to Tunisia for a week in February and more flights for a weekend in Tunis in May when I'm going over for a wedding. I'll book hotels much nearer the time.
Have a great time in Jamaica. I hope you're not worried about going with Portland for the first time as you'll get exactly the same service and reps as you would with Thomson - only difference being at a fraction of the cost. We booked with them for Mexico this year and could not fault the holiday.
easter 08 turkey flights 1 week staying with my mother
whit 08 turkey aegean dream all inc 2 weeks
aug 08 turkey flights 2 weeks probably stay in akyaka
thats all booked so far
booked for kenya in january..
Got 4 days at Center Parcs at the beginning of January, then New York and Mexico (2 weeks altogether) in March and looking at booking to go to Tunisia in August.
then benidorm staying in the venus feb 5th
then back to zante june 12th
and if im a lucky girl we might just get a sneaky week in november
Nine of us are going to Florida in August. We have booked a villa for us all.
As we have to go during school holidays we never find that prices are that much cheaper, so we book early to make sure that we get exactly what we want
Same with us, and booking early you can sometimes get free child places even in the school hols. For next year we are back in our beloved Tenerife for two weeks at Easter, and then we're going to give Crete a whirl for two weeks late July/early August (never done Greece before). Got a free child place in Crete for a 15 year old on all-inclusive in the school hols
Might consider a cheap and cheerful week for the May/June half-term, finances permitting. We used to do a few days out with our local coach company (theme parks, zoos, seaside etc) because the pick-up point is just round the corner from our house, but now the kids are older they're not really interested anymore.
Nothing booked for me as yet, but looking at Egypt in March, somewhere over the summer and sometihng next sept. That's as far as we've got up to press!

Have booked flights to Auckland and Sydney next March, and 10 nights in Zante in June. Hopefully fit a week in the sun next Autumn too, perhaps Egypt....
Palma in Majorca for 5 nights. For anything later in the year, I'll book it nearer the time.
