We have booked Cyprus for August 2007 and are staying in Protaras.
My first time in Cyprus. Husband was there in 1986!
While there we will hire a car for a few days to see as much of the island as possible. To make it easier to see the west of the island we thought it might be good to book accomodation just for 1 night in the west.
How easy / hard is it likely to be to get a booking for 1 night only in peak season? - 2 adults + 2 kids (12 & 10)
Does anyone have any recomendations of where to try?
Are there any alternatives to hotels? eg B&B taverna type places?
Specific location & fancy facilities dont matter too much cos it is just 1 night (though air conditioning would be nice) . Something clean and comfortable that wont break the bank.

Unfortunately couldnt get anything through those sites. Got no availability or just too expensive on most sites I tried. But after quite a bit of googling I found http://www.bookcyprus.com - good number of options and good prices. Iv booked the Daphne in Pahpos for £35 for an apt for 1 night which i think is excellent. Cant find a single review on it though, but its A class so cant be too bad, and even if it isnt up to much, its only for 1 night!
