We have been going to Goa since 1999, I think I have been about 14/15 times now (as I went alone a couple of times too) but to be honest I still see queries on here that I don't know the answers to, it is only during the last two visits that we actually found holiday street in Candolim (and the great restaurants that we never knew were there)

so IMO I think that it's quite normal not to know about a particular place OR hotel however many times you have been. There are so many hotels to choose from now and I personally wouldn't want to spend valuable time whilst on my holiday researching them unless I was in that particular area or it had been specifically recommended to me to check it out; much easier to ask on a forum where there is so much bountiful knowledge.
Please don't ever ask me for directions in the Baga, Calangute or Candolim area either because I haven't a clue........I just follow my husband and hope that he knows where we are going

My husband just said "you could get lost in our back garden".....................
I said "Well if you cut the grass I wouldn't"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flippin cheek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To stay on topic...........it's down Candolim, on the main road on the right coming from Calangute. Friends stayed there and said it was basic. I think it's been taken over by new owners. It wasn't very well sign posted on the main road when I visited so could easily have missed it.
