rec call from first choice aug 2009 family of 5 hideous prices nothing under 5k

Going to benidorm on 10/5 stopping at the Levente Club Apartments for a week. Just priced up the identical holiday for next year and it's £246 dearer . I know costs have gone/and still are going up but I think it's a pretty stiff increase all the same.

Hi all I just had to post as I have been picking my 2009 holiday for about 5 months lol however we are a family of 5 too and cannot get anything for a decent price - so much for credit crunching and holidays being the first to go lol

Im hoping that if we leave it they will have to reduce prices as people wont be buying not at them prices anyway!

What do you think - good idea??

all depends on the 5 because my 13yr old next yr is adult on ai.found portland holidays beating thomson on a lot of hols.but have booked with thomson 5star marsa alam 2 weeks 22nd july ai for 3700.cant c me beating that to b honest.first choice a joke said their not online for 4 weeks.most unhelpful in shop and call centre.maybe leave it if your not fussy where you go dont no your ages but we get 2 rooms which is slightly easier.p.s love the red sea

Why don´t you try private apartments can work out a lot cheaper.

I suppose there has to be increases everytime i do my shopping it goes up each week.The pound against the Euro is the worst it's ever been.I can remember getting 1,50 to the pound.It'll take at least a year for it to come back to a better exchange rate. I think cheap prices are soon going to be a thing of the past.

Hi thanks for the replies. I have actually booked now and got the 5 of us (yes one of our children will be 13) for £2282.00 to Turkey but it is only 3 star and BB but the reviews sound great. This was with Direct Holidays. For the same holiday Thomas Cook & Thomsons both wanted in excess of £3k so I definitely got a good deal.

I wont know what to do with myself now - anybody got a holiday they want me to search for them lol
