Sounds like you could want Protaras or Pernera, both full of restaurants, self catering hotels, shops, bars and plenty of pools.... lots of the hotels do entertainment as do some of the bars.. karaoke, acts, magic etc... there are even some little "amusement parks" (a few games machines, little ride on cars etc...).. all within walking distance ....

Yes prices have gone up due to the Euro and our rate against it not being great, they have also gone up due to normal inflation and a little due to profit margins... (pretty much like it has everywhere else in the world) There are still plenty of places doing offers and such for cheaper drinks and meals etc....
