Hi

Alot of the budget airlines do not tend to release there flights until six months in advance. :)

Hi. my friend has a villa in cyprus and visits several times a year, they nearlly always fly with Monarch as they find it the cheapest flight only airline, you may find a cheaper one if you don't mind flying with an airline you've never heard of or if you stop over somewhere mid route. If you are going for 2 weeks then losing a day isn't that bad, usually we've had enough by the end anyway, on the other hand passing time at the airport until you can check into your apartment is not that bad either, they'll be things open and at least you're on holiday!!!! On a slightly negative note we've just flown with Monarch to Cyprus and it's the worst flight we've had in a long time, no meal because we booked a package, no in-flight entertainment, gang of drunken men on a stag do and they ran out of food and snacks and this was for nearlly five hours. We wouldn't fly with Monarch again to Cyprus but we would to Palma if it was the cheapest option as it's quite quick. Happy Holidays.....

Hi Annie.f, We book private apartments and seperate flights 2/3 times a year. To be honest if you can afford a bit more I would go with the Monarch Sat flight or if you can hold your nerve wait for Easyjet or Ryanair to release their flights and book a day flight. Most private apartments are only available from around 2.00pm in the afternoon so it would mean a lot of hanging around. Also at the end of your holiday we have had to be out of the apartment for 10.00am on the day of departure and if it is a more residential complex there isn't always somewhere to store your luggage. Also if you had a day flight you would be more likely to be able to get a shared transfer instead of having a taxi, the saving could then be ofset against the extra cost of the flight. Hope this helps

Hi

We have booked separate flights and accommodation for years now. i have used travel republic, airflight.co.uk or if you go on sky scanner.co.uk it will check all operators for the dates you have chosen sometimes you can book one airline one way and an other back that sometimes works out quite a bit cheaper..although saturdays are usually bit dearer anyway..good luck.

I would hang fire and have a look at Easyjet when they release their flights. The tip for flights is to book as soon as possible once the seats are on sale as the prices usually climb, you don't sound as though you have ticked the boxes with the Monarch flights so you have nothing to lose by waiting for Easyjet.

Hi....Easyjet flights for next summer are on sale now, had a quick look and Luton seems cheaper than Gatwick so if you could fly from there you may save a bit. Be quick if you decide to book as prices usually increase once people start booking.....Hope this helps
