Hi All
Decided to head back to Goa in Feb 2013 and looking at some of the current early deals has left me a bit confounded (normally pay £5-600 per person and now looking at £900 for two weeks in a 2 star next Feb).
Who currently offers reasonable deals to goa (cheapest so far is Monarch) does anyone have any gems that could save a few schillings.
Cheers
When was your last visit out ?
yeah been doing the centre parcs with the family for the last couple of years so not been needing to keep up on the Goa scene, have been following the River Princess removal though

Been checking Qatar as well as BA and Qatar stop overs are horrific though ends up being a 20+ hour journy and whilst i dont have an issue with that the 12 year old daughter will moan like buggery.
Found a couple of deals on BA's site and they work out about the same as a package holiday except you can tag a couple of days extra onto the holiday by choosing the flights etc downside is the flight back involves a 7 hour wait at mumbai till the 2am BA flight leaves.
But currently keeping options open to be honest Mexico looks pretty sweet and not much more expensive.
Hi mrstella, We went with Qatar in jan and only had 2 hour stop in Doha, think they only have connecting flights to goa on certain days so you need to look carefully for the best connecting flights.
Mr Stella, we faced the same problem with the long wait with Qatar this year, originally wanted to fly out on the Fri 10th Feb. The prices were to good to ignore and we were lucky that we had a bit of flexability so by moving the flights to Sunday 12th we were able to book flights with 1hr 55 stop over in Doha going & 2hr 15 returning. They were really good flights (apart from one which was like a bloody sauna while waiting on the runway to take off )
Hi we have flown with qatar and emirates and have had to search for good flights which did not include long stop overs but we have found them in the past, although it has taken hours of trying different dates we have found some good prices, good luck
