please help a confused and lovestruck scotsman?
was going to book dominican republic but bad reviews for my 2nd honeymoon been married 10 years next year. (think my wife deserves a medal or the most amazing holiday for that long)
what hotel or area would you go to if you wanted a romantic time. (also tour company so i can book).
thinking of going A I but would like to go out the hotel to experience local bars hotel and history, (don't want to be stuck in the same hotel for 14 days) would like to treat my wife to romantic meals, walk along the beach, drinks at sunset etc.
Also would you recommend A I (usually go to turkey/dubai/bangkok) wouldn't touch A I with a barge pole
my wife deserves the most romantic time I can give her
was thinking of £700-£900 a head for a hotel is this enough.
please please please please help
Ive been to Hammamet twice,but have been going to Port el Kantaoui the last 4 times,it has a lovely marina with some nice restaurants,and across from that is the musical fountains which are switched on in the evenings,also surrounded by restaurants.There is some nice hotels,have stayed at Maharba Palace twice,but have booked the Royal Kenz for this time,Adult only hotel and has entertainment,which some hotels have very little of.another hotel 5* is the Imperial Maharba.Try looking at Portland Direct,part of Thomsons,cheaper.Also only a short taxi ride away is Sousse.
