3 days at half term

We live in West Wales within easy reach of Cardiff & Bristol airport. Any suggestions where oh & I can go for 3 days at half term. We don't mind if its abroad or in this country. As hubby drives around 200 miles a day we wouldn't mind going on a train. Also it has to be "cheap as chips" owing to the amount of hols we're going on this year.

Is this with kids or without? If you work in a school I presume you'll want somewhere without!

Hi Steve! as its such a short break we've decided to stay in this country, so we're doing a mini tour of N Wales.

You can still leave the car behind, see these travel passes like most people think you can only get in Switzerland!
