Do not go to this hotel as it is very shabby and tired looking. It is on the top of a hill so you really have to be young and fit not to have to pay for a taxi to take you back up. None of this is mentioned in the Newmarket Holiday brochure in fact to read it you feel secure in making this hotel your choice for a good holiday. The breakfasts were boringly the same each day, fancy no fruit on offer in Italy.
The town itself was split in two really with the old and the new town separated by a beautiful park. In theold town there were about three restaurants but it new town only the pizzerias which were fine for snacks. This is a spa town and the spa we tried was wonderful. You would feel very safe in the town which is surrounded by beautiful trees and countryside so just use another hotel.
