We went to the Riu Vistamar in Amadores, Gran Canaria in October this year. Lovely 4 star all inclusive. I was pleasently surprised by the food. Entertainment was great, although you do have to sit through the mini disco. Hotel pools lovely.
Rooms were great, everyone with a seaview.
You Amadores beach below with its bars and restaurants, Puerto Rico within walking distance and beautiful Mogan a bus or boat ride away.

Have you tried the flamingo oasis in benidorm there is loads to do there plus theme parks
