I'm wondering if any of you experienced cruisers could recommend a new cruise line for our 4th cruise? We are hoping to go to the Eastern med. in Aug/Sep 2007.
We have previously sailed on the Destiny, Spirit and Cunard's Caronia. We preferred the informality of Thomson, so would be looking for something with a similar atmosphere. We are in our late 20's, ruling out Saga, but aren't particularly looking for a 'young' ship.
Loved the size of the Destiny, so the Emerald or Calypso seems a little compact. Prefer to have the option of buffet dining, or open seating for evening meal as we are explorers (again, this seems to rule out the Emerald).
Not fussed about entertainment, or sunbathing, but it would be nice to have a choice of venues. A cinema would be a bonus, but not essential.
Does anything spring to mind? Many thanks in advance
