To add insult to what was a dreadful curry one of our party had an upset stomach and another woke up with the worst headache she,d ever had.
Since Portugal had only one small foothold in India (Goa) it is not at all surprising to me that it might be more difficult to find English style curry here. The UK had domination over all the rest of the sub continent, the migrants went there and opened up their shops etc.
Having said that there is no excuse for poor cooking as such. I trust you wrote your experience into the complaints book.
