We are visiting Nerja at the end of the month for the first time and I have a few questions -
Are there plenty of ATMs in town?
Is common for restaurants/supermarkets take payment by debit card or are we best off with cash?
Can anyone recommend any good tapas bars in the Torrecilla Beach area?
I'm sure I've read somewhere that communal pools are closed in the winter, is this likely to be the case in early October and if so would I still be OK on a sun lounger by the pool as long as I didn't go in? (I'm not a sunworshiper as we prefer to explore but I do like to chill on my first day)
Anyone know of any wine tasting experiences nearby? (we have a hire car so can fight about who drives!)
Thanks for your help.
As I remember Puddleduck there were a lot of tapas bars - we tried a fair few. Also remember having a super meal at Mama Rosa's, I had duck with chocolate sauce - that's why I've never forgotton it, it was heaven - cheers Mary
hmm duck with chocolate sauce?? ooh what a strange combination, it'd be like having a main course and dessert all in one
Well Puddleduck my mouth's watering at the thought of it- definitely different
Doubt we'll be trying it, not my cup of tea I'm afraid oap
ATMs everywhere. Some restaurants take cards but it's best to have cash as many don't. Cards are OK for supermarkets but you need photographic ID. Be very aware of your bag/ wallet especially if you are using your passport for ID!
Thanks Kayley
puddleduck - be a devil and have a go
