Hunter, it is definitely cheaper in Turkey and the purchased item is worth two or three times more than what you paid when you get it valued back here. Always haggle over the price. If you've got a design you can show the jeweller, he will make it to your specification within a couple of days and it will be unique because it is yours. By the way, which resort are you going to, just in case I can recommend a jeweller to you ??

Hi Stevie, I don't know of any Jewellers in Marmaris but if you take the dolmus to Icmeler there is a jeweller called DAL. It is on the same side of the road as Tansas supermarket on the main road into Icmeler, about 400 yards further down the road. There is a raised pavement area and DAL is on the corner at the far end, on a staggered crossroad.

We've been to Icmeler twice and used them both times and recommended them to other holidaymakers who, in turn, have been extremely pleased with their purchases. The first time we went, I bought a watch which is still going strong to-day, I paid £50 for it, four years later we returned and asked them to clean it up for me. This they did and re-calibrated it but because it was away longer than they said they didn't charge me but we made a further purchase with them anyway !!!!

Hunter, I think I pmd you but If I didn't, take the dolmus up the hill to Hisaronu whereby you will be spoilt for choice of jewellers.
