Goa in November
Never been before
Read most posts a 1000 times
And like it more and more
Cavelossim is our choice
Dona Sylvia our base
Twelve weeks tomorrow
We will be packing our case
Sent off for our visas
Injections we have yet to endure
Malaria tablets are a must for me
Cause the blighters love to gnaw
We must admit to worries
About what Goa has in store
But then there is a reason
Why you lot go more and more
Seriously we look forward
To our first Goan trip
We will go with an open mind
And hopefully come back feeling hip

I know you will love Goa! I have said before that Goa seems to turn members into poets and authors. You are that already! 
Oh no Fiona are you trying to put me off? After reading that thread I have got the jitters again. They are all the things that I am worried about! 
Vegasone loves Goa though! 
Don't let it put you off it's part and parcel of Goa, I thoght it was an excellent observation, and only wish I cold be so eloquent.

Your poem reminds me of my first time to Goa in January this year. I felt exactly the same, it was the furthest I ever travelled But all my worries seemed to evaporate at the first smile I had. I'm sure you will love it as much as we alldo, Have a wonderful time and come and do a poetry report of Goa on your return.

Arl - I was reading your first time report when you were posting it - and used to check every day for the next instalment - actually had the page saved to my favourites - it was brilliant absolutely brilliant!! I will let you all know what I thought when I get back although I don't think I will be writing in rhyme!
