I am sure I am like everybody else today- shocked and saddened and almost numb. I watched it unfolding on tv last night and hoped that it was just panic after an equipment blow out.
Now we begin to see the photos and it somehow makes it feel even worse. That bomber looked around him and knew he was killing children- I can't say what I think of him here.
I know a lot of our members come from Manchester and I am sure the city is in shock. But you should be proud with how everyone immediately ran towards a danger which wasn't exactly clear at the time, and reached out to help. And of course the emergency services rushed in to the arena which may have still held dangers, and had to cope with what they found. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this atrocity.
Truly awful. Am shocked.
It is heartwarming though to see the response of people helping and supporting each other in a time of need .
I saw a pic of the Burj Khalifa lit up in a Union Jack in support of Manchester and the UK and was there myself to see it lit in the French flag in November 2015 after the Paris attack , it does make you stop and think .
