Accommodation needed for September

Hi

Wondered if anyone would be able to help. I have flights booked to Barcelona on 30 September returning on 7 October. I did have a booking for a campsite through a travel agency but unfortunately due to my brain not being up to scratch

this has been cancelled.

Can anyone recommend good accommodation, ideally in Salou that. There will be 2 adults and 2 children (12 & 9) travelling.

Hi, wheat crunchie travel republic have got som good hotel deals for salou half board for under£250 or thomas cook have got good prices for just the hotel for salou,hope this helps,

Calypso

The Calypso is not far all from the sea front, we stayed there about six years ago when it was a superfamily hotel, so a hell of a lot of kids which may be ok for you, cheap but not so cheerful, but in fairness the food was ok although the cleanliness left something to be desired.

Me and my wife are for the calypso on 1st Oct for three nights for a break. It certainly seemed alright going by the reviews on this site and was very cheap to book H/B.

Hi Neesy, I am sure that you will get value for money at the Calypso, when we were in Salou last christmas some work was taking place. We stay at the Costa Daurada Sol and reading the reviews people don't like that but we think that is outstanding value for money. It would'nt do for us all to be the same.

Cheers for the reply David. This is our fourth year in a row in Salou We've stayed in the med village 3 times and the hotel port aventura with the kids but hopefully this will do for the two of us. Dont intend to be in too much as we fancy visiting some of the liquid selling establishments that arent so easy to visit with a nine and six year old

A monster of a spelling mistake

Dont worry about it. We stayed for a wee break last year in Salou going on 30th Sept and the weather was excellent hopefully get something the same.
Would recommend the theme park it had a Halloween theme as we had the chance to go around without the kids and go on some of the bigger rides. Theres a small haunted house thing that you walk through I think its in the mexican part that you should do if you go there Honestly the two of us never laughed as much brilliant. Enjoy
