I've walked past and it's in a good location in the New Town, maybe 10 minutes to the beach and Old Town. Never stayed but the reviews on Trip Advisor are in the majority, very poor.

Decent budget hotels i've tried in the neighbourhood are Al's and Alexia. Neither are plush but clean and comfortable, good value for money.
